READ
Let’s READ!
READ is the IRL2URL reading list and book club. Every fortnight we come together to gently read and discuss a new text. Dive into poety, turn the pages of essays and be transported by fiction. A wealth of resources are being shared online that speak directly to the current happenings in the world. Sometimes these texts can be confronting and difficult to digest on our own so why not do it together. Let’s support each-other, read and discuss.
READ occurs on Zoom Every 2nd Wednesday, including:
15th July
29th July
12th August
26th August
9th September

HOW IT WORKS:
The text will be emailed to you the day before and made available to you during the session.
The zoom link will be emailed to you, with the text, the day before.
Please feel no pressure to read it first, this is to inform you of the content we will be covering incase it is a sensitive topic for you.
HOW A SESSION RUNS:
During the reading/sharing session we ask all who are comfortable to read a paragraph each in turn. At the end we will open an informal chat about what we have covered and any ideas that have come to mind during.
We invite participants to send readings you are interested in for future sessions. Email your suggestions to artdesign@arc.unsw.edu.auIn these reading/sharing sessions we will not tolerate any kind of discrimination. This behaviour will be removed.
We encourage curiosity and healthy discussions but please be mindful of your language and others in the group.
Excited to read and share with you
